Part 1. How to Mirror & Record Android Device to PC
Step 1. Launch the Program, Connect Android Device to Computer
After downloading and installing the iSkysoft Toolbox on your computer, please double click the shortcut icon to open it. Then you can get an interface as below. Click "Screen Recorder".
Then you need to connect your Android device to PC via a USB cable. To continue, please enable USB debugging on your phone.
For devices running Android 4.2 or above:
By the way, it will be a pop-up message on your device to ask you for allowing USB debugging, here just tap on “Allow” to continue.
For devices running Android 3.0-4.1:
For devices running Android 2.0-2.3:
After the above step, iSkysoft Toolbox – Android Screen Recorder will successfully detect your Android device.
Step 2. Mirror Android Screen to PC
As soon as Android Screen Recorder program recognize your Android device, it will mirror Android screen to computer automatically. Now you can totally control everything on your Android device from PC using mouse.
Step 3. Record Android Screen
It is pretty easy to record Android videos, games or any app activities using Android Screen Recorder. You can see a record button on the right navigation bar, click it to get a pop-up window. Then choose “START NOW” to start recording.
By the way, you can change the save location via “Settings” > “Record Settings” before recording. And you can also choose to save recorded video on Android or not.
To complete the recording, just hit the red circle button. And the recorded video will be saved on your PC automatically.
Part 2. How to Reply Android Messages on Computer
Step 1. Connect Android Device to PC
To start with, you can follow the Step 1 on Part 1 to launch the program and connect your Android phone to computer. After Android Screen Recorder recognizes your device, you can easily access the text message apps on your Android phone.
Step 2. Reply Android Messages
Now you are able to control everything on your Android device using mouse. Just enter the text message app, read messages and reply with keyboard on computer as needed.
Part 3. How to Take Screenshots on Computer
Step 1. Get Android Device Connected to PC
Follow the Step 1 on Part 1 to connect your Android device to computer and get it recognized by Android Screen Recorder. When Android Screen Recorder mirrors your Android phone to PC, it will be a Screenshot button on the right navigation bar.
Click on the “Screenshot” button, and choose “Save” to export the screenshot picture to your computer. There is another “Rotate” button for rotating screenshots if you need.
